These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Backyardop real estate crowdlending platform. By accessing and using our services, you accept these terms in full.
1. Definitions
'Platform' refers to the website backyardop.com and all its functionalities. 'User' is any person who accesses the platform. 'Investor' is a registered user who participates in investment projects. 'Project' refers to each real estate investment opportunity presented on the platform.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To invest in Backyardop you must: be over 18 years old, have legal capacity to contract, be a resident of Bolivia or a country where investment is legal, complete the identity verification process (KYC), and provide truthful and up-to-date information.
3. Investment Risks
Investment in real estate projects carries risks. You could lose part or all of your investment. Past returns do not guarantee future results. We recommend diversifying and not investing funds you need in the short term. Consult with a financial advisor before investing.
4. Platform Operation
Backyardop acts as an intermediary between investors and real estate developers. We do not guarantee the success of any project. Projects are evaluated but the final investment decision is yours. Fund transfers are made through authorized payment methods.
5. Fees and Charges
Backyardop charges fees for investment management. Specific fees are detailed in each project before investing. There are no hidden charges. All fees are deducted from returns, not from initial capital.
6. Intellectual Property
All platform content, including texts, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Backyardop S.R.L. or its licensors. Reproduction without express authorization is prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
Backyardop will not be liable for: losses arising from your investment decisions, technical interruptions of the platform, actions of third parties beyond our control, or indirect or consequential losses.
8. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of La Paz, Bolivia.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms. Changes will be notified by email and on the platform. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
